Melbourne Tramways Big Band

Did you know we have a group of talented musicians in our midst?

The Melbourne Tramways Big Band (MTBB) rehearses weekly at the clubhouse and all nineteen band members, including two vocalists, are Camberwell Pompey Elliott RSL members.

Under the musical direction of Mark Dipnall, the MTBB performs a repertoire of Swing and Jazz Rock music which many of us enjoyed dancing to at the 2023 East Melbourne Tramways RSL Christmas Party (held at the Camberwell Bowls Club).

Come along to their Gigs

CPE RSL members are warmly invited to see the MTBB perform at a prestigious forthcoming event – the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, an international event associated with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Gary Burton and Chaka Khan.
